Have You Lost Your Biorb Intelligent LED Light Manual?
If you are like me you can’t stand hanging on to packaging, it clutters your closets, and product manuals just build up. So…what happens if you bought a biorb intelligent LED light and you programmed it once, threw away the packaging and forgot about it, and now you have lost the setup instructions for your biorb led light? How do you re-program the light, or change the settings and you forgot how?
We did a quick search and it is pretty hard to find the intelligent light manual, so, here it is, all typed up nicely for your viewing pleasure.
The Intelligent Light Manual & Programming Instructions:
Just plug the biorb intelligent light in and I automatically simulate a natural light light in your aquarium
Quick Start – Standard Cycle
1. Plug the din socket into a Reef One 12v AC power suppliy (only use Reef One power supplies), the moonlight (blue LED) will come on and the light will be in standard mode. (time elapsed 0:00)
2. The moonlight will then stay on as the light begins to rise up to daylight (white LED’s) simulating natural sunrise. (time elapsed 1:00)
3. After 1 hour, daylight will be at full power with no moonlight. In this mode, daylight will stay on for a further 8 hours. (time elapsed 9:00)
4. After 9 hours the daylight will then start to fade into moonlight, simulating a natural sunset. This will take a further 1 hour. (time elapsed 10:00)
5. After 10 hours the moonlight will then remain on until the cycle repeats, this happens automatically, every 24 hours unless interrupted by a power failure or user input. (time elapsed 24:00)
6. Then the light cycle repeats

Cleaning and Care:
Clean the lens of the light regularly with Reef One cleaning cloths, if scale builds up use the Reef One Plastic Scratch Remover and Polish.

Hold – to delay 24 hour cycle
1xflash – Normal 24 hour light cycle will start from this time of day
2 x flash – Daylight is turned off for 2 hours and then resumes previous cycle (blue LED is not affected by this and will remain on). Ideal for watching movies or when doing maintenance. To resume earlier than 2 hours, press for two flashes.
Hold to adjust timings
3x flash – 24 hour standard cycle with 8 hours of daylight
4x flash – 24 hour cycle with short daylight (5 hours of daylight)
5x flash – 24 hour cycle with extended daylight (14 hours of daylight)
6x flash – 24 hour permanent daylight with no moonlight
7x flash – 24 hour permanent moonlight with 8 hours of daylight
8x flash – 24 hour daylight and moonlight
9x flash – 30 second demo cycle. To exit, disconnect from power.
If you have any problems while programming, re-set the light by disconnecting from the power.

Is there something wrong with my light i cant get it to flash only five times for extended daylight! flashes six no matter what i do! soooo disappointed.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with your light, I would contact Reef One directly, they are usually very good about warranty issues
I bought a Biorb Intelligent LED Light when i had my Biorb set up for a couple of weeks and the fish love it and so do i and at night time as the tank is in my bed room it glows a soft blue and its so relaxing to fall asleep with it.

Thanks for this, helps a lot. Great product but the cabling is very flawed – onto my second one now, as after numerous months the power will short if the wire is moved around. So I find I have to reprogram the time every time I do a water change! Annoying
Hi ,thanks for the info on the light , i have now set up my 60 ltr Biorb and after 2 weeks of it set up i have now added 4 neon tetra and also 4 neon black , what other fish can i add to the Biorb that wont attack the neons and also how many can i add to the Biorb , thanks Diffauk1
Thanks for the info on this site, really usefull as i got the Biorb tank, light from my parents so did’nt really know how the light worked. Have unpluged the light and will turn on in the moring to start the 24 hour cycle.
