		<description>The nitrate levels probably got too high.  The nitrate levels will continue to rise in concentration for the life of your tank.  It&#039;s not normally poisonous to fish until it gets above a certain point.  We change water to dilute those levels so they don&#039;t suffocate the fish.  You should be doing 15% water changes about every 2 weeks.  3 months between water changes is wayyyy too long.  The smaller your tank, the more frequently you should be doing water changes as smaller ecosystems are more subject to drastic spikes/changes in your water chemistry.</description>

		<description>I purchased the marine conversion kit the 8 gallon bio orb heater 24hr led light had 2 clown fish 2 hermit crabs,changed water 3 times in about 9 monthes was gone for 3 weeks to take care of my father and my husband was to take care of them, they all died. the water was the worst smelling ive ever encountered. i would like to get more but im afraid i did something wrong. any ideas?</description>
