They are still in business but the pet stores are starting to carry less of the biorb items because as retail stores often do they rotate products and are constantly looking for the new thing. Biorb is still in business but since their customer service is limited I recommend contacting Everything Biorb if you have questions

JUST WONDERING IF YOU ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS (BIORB AQUARIUMS). I WROTE THEM ALMOST TWO WEEKS AGO ABOUT IF THEY HAD ANY STORES DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY THAT CARRIED THE 16 GALLONS IN EITHER STYLE. NO RESPONSE. STARTING TO WONDER HOW NICE THESE AQUARIUMS REALLY ARE. MAYBE THAT IS WHY PETSMART, PETCO, AND PETSUPERMARKET KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT THEM AND DONT CARRY THEM. TOO BAD THE COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE BETTER FOLLOW THROUGH OR THEY COULD SELL A LOT MORE AQUARIUMS. THE SKY WAS THE LIMIT FOR ME ON PRICE BUT I THINK I WILL TAKE MY MONEY ELSEWHERE CUZ I STILL NOT ONLY WANT THE BEST EASIEST AQUARIUM BUT A GOOD COMPANY TO STAND BEHIND THEM.

Yeah, biorb can be really hard to get ahold of sometimes, we recommend you contact Everything Biorb – their customer service is really good.

Went back to the shop who were very appologetic and asked if we wanted a refund or new tank or even exchange for a different style of tank. Anyway took the plunge again and tried another 1 and will let you know how it gets on. On another note I e-mailed BIORB a number of times and got no reply what sort of customer service is that?

I bought a Biorb 60 about 9 months ago. 6 months ago i had to replace under warranty as cracks started appearing around the lower edge of the globe. 3 months later and I have just sat and watched the new one start cracking in front of my eyes almost covering the whole bottom of the globe. These new cracks went from nothing to frosted within an hour. I had to put the fish in my old trusted glass fishtank (good job I did not throw out the old tank) I think they look beautiful but can I trust them I think not.
